HOAGC was founded out of necessity.

After more than two decades of property management experience focused exclusively on HOA and COA communities, our founder, Sina Azari a Real Estate Broker, Certified Financial Fiduciary and Licensed General Contractor identified a consistent and costly problem: deferred maintenance is the single largest expense facing associations.
Because of deferred maintenance—and the lack of transparency around material costs, scope definition, and project complexity—many general contractors were overpricing and underdelivering, often taking significant financial advantage of the communities they were hired to serve.
The ideal solution would be for associations to have a licensed general contractor or construction expert serving on their board or among their member-owners. In reality, very few communities have this level of in-house expertise.
Relying solely on property managers for maintenance oversight presents another challenge. Most management companies specialize in accounting, administration, and regulatory compliance. Few possess deep backgrounds in construction, material pricing, project management, labor variability, or the cost controls required to accurately budget and execute large-scale maintenance and capital improvement projects.
HOAGC was created to close this gap.

HOAGC is a membership-based organization composed of experienced property managers, licensed general contractors, suppliers, and vetted affiliates—including legal counsel and compliance authorities. Its purpose is twofold:
-
To rigorously vet and elevate the standards of its members
-
To provide associations with an added layer of due diligence and oversight
By doing so, HOAGC helps create a more level playing field for associations that depend on third-party services—reducing waste, controlling costs, and mitigating risk across maintenance and construction projects critical to the long-term health of their communities.
